Brooke Energy – Jewells Farm

Brooke Energy – Jewells Farm Solar PV Project

A 127 kW commercial rooftop solar PV system at Jewells Farm, Hemyock, generating clean renewable electricity and reducing carbon emissions by over 22 metric tonnes per year.

The Brooke Energy solar PV installation at Jewells Farm, Hemyock, Cullompton is a commercial rooftop system designed to deliver clean, on-site renewable electricity while significantly reducing operational carbon emissions.

The system has an installed capacity of 127.125 kWdc, comprising 339 high-efficiency DMEGC solar panels connected to a Solis 110 kW three-phase inverter. The array has been engineered in accordance with MCS methodology, accounting for site orientation, roof inclination, and shading to maximise annual energy yield.

The system is expected to generate approximately 95,700 kWh of renewable electricity per year, directly offsetting grid electricity consumption and delivering 22.3 metric tonnes of CO₂ savings annually. Structural assessments confirm roof loading remains within Building Regulations thresholds, ensuring long-term suitability.

Designed for a 25–30 year operational life, the installation provides long-term energy resilience, reduced carbon impact, and alignment with Net Zero and ESG objectives.
